What is the dress code for InventMUN?
Western Business Attire is required. Delegates must dress professionally during committee sessions.
Religious clothing accommodations are allowed.
Does a delegation need a chaperone or advisor?
Yes. Delegations without an advisor will not be allowed into the building or attend the conference.
Advisors must be present to keep delegates accounted for.
Are electronic devices allowed?
Electronic devices are only permitted during unmoderated caucuses for working paper and resolution
writing. Phones may not be used at any time during committee sessions.
What food options are available at InventMUN?
Lunch will be provided on-site. Additional details will be shared closer to the conference date.
What is InventMUN’s policy on AI, plagiarism, and pre-written documents?
The use of AI, plagiarism, and pre-written materials is strictly prohibited. Delegates found in
violation will be disqualified from all awards and their advisor will be notified.
Can individual delegates attend?
Yes. Individual delegates are welcome to attend as long as they bring an adult advisor.
Please list “Individual Delegate” on the registration form.
Dress Code
All delegates attending InventMUN are expected to adhere to Western Business Attire throughout the conference and all committee sessions. Delegates should present themselves in a professional manner appropriate for formal diplomatic debate.
Clothing that is casual, revealing, or disruptive to the professional environment is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, T-shirts, tank tops, midriff-baring clothing, jeans, casual dresses, shorts, athletic wear, and sandals.
Apparel displaying offensive language, slogans, or imagery is strictly prohibited. Hats are not permitted inside committee rooms, with the exception of religious headwear.
Delegates who do not comply with the dress code may be denied entry to the conference or asked to leave committee sessions at the discretion of the Secretariat.
